Like most full-size SUVs, the LX 470 used traditional body-on-frame construction, but it has been tuned to provide a quiet and comfortable ride characteristics. Unlike many competitors, but the LX retained considerable off-road capability and was cared for in this way to take on seriously gnarly trails for those who use it.
